Physical Penetration Testing
If someone walked into your server room tomorrow, would anyone stop them?
Service Overview
A single minute of unsupervised physical access can undo years of investment in cybersecurity. An attacker who reaches a network port, an unlocked laptop or a server rack does not need to break through your firewall at all.
Physical Penetration Testing goes beyond an audit checklist. We actively attempt to get into your premises and reach agreed targets, combining covert entry techniques with social engineering, exactly as a real intruder would. Doors, locks, badge readers, sensors, cameras, guards and employees are all part of the test. Every engagement is carried out under a signed authorization letter and clear rules of engagement, with safety and discretion as top priorities.
How the Engagement Works
Reconnaissance & Site Surveillance
Open-source research and on-site observation of entrances, shift patterns, smoking areas, delivery routines, badge designs and security staff behaviour to identify the weakest point of entry.
Social Engineering on Site
Tailgating, pretexting and confident impersonation to talk or follow our way through controlled doors and past reception, testing how staff react to an unfamiliar face.
Technical Bypass
Non-destructive techniques such as lockpicking, shimming, under-door tools, request-to-exit sensor bypass and RFID access badge cloning to defeat physical controls.
Objective & Proof of Access
Reaching agreed targets such as a server room, an executive office or a network port, and documenting the access with photos or harmless markers. Optionally, a rogue device can be planted to show how physical access turns into a network compromise.
Deliverables
- Proof of Access (Photographic/Video evidence where permitted)
- Analysis of bypassed controls (Lock picking, sensor bypassing, tailgating)
- Step-by-step narrative of the attack path
- Audience Tailored Reporting (Technical & Executive)
- Actionable remediation roadmap to secure the perimeter
